In recent years there seems to be a consensus that the way we think and feel can affect the way the body behaves. We know that high blood pressure is connected to stress and that sometimes stress is a big part of various physical symptoms that don't seem to have another explanation. We know about the Placebo affect and that the belief of taking a beneficial pill can actually affect how our body reacts.
But how much can we say about how our thoughts and feelings affect our body? Do all illnesses come from the psyche? Are there some that are random and others that are more clearly stress related? And if there is a connection between the two, has there been any research done about this connection? Is there a way to know what kind of stress creates which kind of illness? And what is the emotional background of what could be manifesting the illness of Covid-19?
